Director of Utility Programs
As Director of Utility Programs, Julie is leading the execution of Stem's grid service and utility programs. The program team has responsibility to coordinate and track from sales to installations, product development and program operations. Prior to joining Stem, Julie was Senior Director R&D at Itron where she led global software teams developing meter data collection and meter data management along with customer and grid analytics applications. She oversaw the expansion of Itron's MDM product line from a 5 to 70+ customer global business. She joined Intron via the acquisition of Silicon Energy, a Bay Area software pioneer in web-based enterprise energy management, where she led applications of a unbundled tariff engine and national rates content service Prior to Silicon Energy, Julie worked at several software and consulting firms focused on the utility industry with projects ranging from integrated resource planning, technology assessments to cost of service and production costing. Julie earned a B.S. and an M.S. in Operation Research/Mathematical Sciences from Stanford University and a B.A. in Math-Economics from Claremont McKenna College, graduating Magna Cum Laude.
